The Makerere alumni have explained that studying in Sweden has a number of benefits including scholarships from both the government and the university.

Makerere University students who get services at the University Hospital are concerned that the hospital does not have basic medicines, and they are asked to buy them from pharmacies. Even those who are admitted to the facility are still required to get medicine from outside.
