A man has been arrested at the Department of Journalism and Communication lab attempting to steal computer accessories. Police has since identified him as Ssebinywa Grace Bruce.

He was seen checking different computers and removing hard disks and claimed to be working with an external technician the department has been using.

Police has credited Makerere University students for maintaining better discipline this semester. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Jackson Amali, the OC CID Makerere University police post says students have maintained discipline this semester with few crime cases reported.

Amali said that unlike last semester where students were raped and robbed, he received such crime reports this semester.

According to a letter from the Vice Chancellor, Bwambale is suspended from the University for undisclosed period.
