Aguero scored the ahundredth goal in the game against New castle United which ended 1-1, Unlike other players from South America who played in premier league for along time like Gabriel Heinz in Manchester United.

 The match kicked off at 3:30pm despite the fact that 1:30pm was the initial starting time.

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has today April 18, 2016 officially opened the 4th Career expo with a call to university students to have a culture of saving if they are to live a better future.

Speaking at the expo that took place in the univeristy main hall, Barbara Aimi the head of marketing and communications at NSSF, said: "Students are at an advantage with NSSF cards as the employers are helped to ensure the employees savings status."

 Journalism and Communication students were on Friday left overjoyed after Vision Group promised to partner with the department to improve their skills in the profession.

This was said by Conan Businge the editor of the education section in the New Vision paper, who was on Friday April 15 speaking at the media expo organised by Net impact Uganda in partnership with the department of journalism and Communication.

The battle between Dr Stella Nyanzi and her boss Prof Mahmood Mamdani at Makerere Institute of Social Research (MISR) has intensified, landing the former into social media clampdown.

Dr Nyanzi, who is known to be a social media guru, was fired from her office by her boss, Prof Mamdan, after she refused to take part in a PhD research program at the institute.  Prof Mamdani is the executive director of MISR.

A thief caught stealing car parts at Makerere Univeristy today afternoon survived being beaten to death by angry students.

A one Raymond Makumbi,  who is a resident of Bakuli, Kampala was arrested after Grace Nankya rose an alarm to students that Makumbi,  who was fleeing from the car park, was a thief.

The incident took place at Lincoln Flats opposite College Of Computing and Information Sciences.
