Independent presidential candidate, John Patrick Amama Mbabazi decried the lawless acts of incumbent NRM after its chopper landed at his rally site, yesterday.

Addressing his supporters in Fort Portal town, Mbabazi advised NRM and its Supporters to stop intimidating his supporters, and also to start respecting the rules put in place by the Electoral commission, citing several incidents like in Masaka where they burnt his car, Bunyoro, and in Fort Portal, where the NRM chopper landed.

Tom Malinowski, assistant secretary of state for Democracy, Human rights and Labour, yesterday said that Obama and the US government is non partisan in Ugandan politics.

Students of Light College, Katikamu are in great shock after getting news of the sudden death of their fellow student,  Ssentogo Ivan who died yesterday shortly after being hospitalized.

 Ssentongo while doing his final exam yesterday felt very weak forcing invigilators to seek medical assistance for him. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

 Doctors said he was suffering from typhoid and that's what has claimed his life.
