Students of Light College, Katikamu are in great shock after getting news of the sudden death of their fellow student,  Ssentogo Ivan who died yesterday shortly after being hospitalized.

Ssentongo while doing his final exam yesterday felt very weak forcing invigilators to seek medical assistance for him. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Doctors said he was suffering from typhoid and that's what has claimed his life.

Nkonde James, the teacher to the deceased, said that Ssentongo was very clever and was offering a heavy combination something that forced his colleagues to call him "Doctor".

A student, who preferred to remain anonymous, said that Ivan was his close friend and that since the week begun, he was saying he is not feeling well.

The mother to the deceased, Annette Tomusange, said she is shocked as her son was not sick and that the doctors' claims of typhoid are unreal.

Family members and relatives are distressed because of the loss of their loved one, whom they say, was taken at a time when he was needed most
