Makerere University College of Humanities and Social Sciences has held its first students’ quiz competition.
The competition that was held Friday 31 November 2014, between the different schools within the college, had the schools compete for the top honors.
Makerere University bagged five awards at the recently concluded inter-institutional media challenge (IMC) held on October 8th.
The awards were in the categories of best feature story, best Luganda business reporter, best technology reporter, best health reporter and best camera.
Makerere University Community remains concerned about the possibility of any attack to this prestigious University and because of that; there are security checks at all major entrance to the university.
The Makerere University department of Journalism and Communication is currently reviewing its curriculum with plans to break it down into three different programs.
