The Recent CHUSS Renovation Revives LR 6

 

The recent renovation of the Arts building has changed the look of some of the rooms therein. On entering Arts Lecture Room 6, one can see a new nice ceiling and a good learning environment.

Before the renovation, LR6 was occupied with damaged disorganized furniture, a damaged open ceiling with falling debris, and a destructive noise generated by the constructors.

Mak Students Tipped on Study in Sweden

 

Former Makerere University students who finished their masters programs in Sweden have called upon current students to apply for different courses in Swedish universities.

The Makerere alumni have explained that studying in Sweden has a number of benefits including scholarships from both the government and the university.

Students Decry Lack of Medicine at University Hospital

Makerere University students who get services at the University Hospital are concerned that the hospital does not have basic medicines, and they are asked to buy them from pharmacies. Even those who are admitted to the facility are still required to get medicine from outside.

Josephine Ahabwe, a second year student of Bachelor of Journalism and Communication shares her experience of being asked to buy medicine, even when she was admitted.
