Bobi Wine launches People Power Ghana Chapter

Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, at the weekend, launched the People Power Ghana Chapter, with the Kyadondo East MP saying this is intended to coordinate and mobilise other people in the area interested in liberating the country.

Bobi Wine, who was in the West African country for the Afrima Awards, alluded to the country’s political icon Kwame Nkrumah to justify the need to fight for freedom.

MAGERE – Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine on Thursday returned to the country and vowed to continue the struggle of seeking change in Uganda.

Addressing thousands of jubilant supporters at his home in Magere, Kasangati in Wakiso District, Bobi Wine thanked them for keeping up the spirit alive.

KAMPALA – Sheikh Suleiman Kakeeto the Tablighi leader in the country has echoed security forces to value people’s lives and shun excessive use of force when handling protestors.  

Speaking during Eid Al-Adha prayers at Clock Tower in Kampala, Sheikh Kakeeto further advised political leaders to stop misusing power saying “you found the country here and you will leave it here.”

Protestors put Kampala on lockdown

KAMPALA- Policemen backed by Military Police and UPDF officers were on Monday engaged in running battles with rowdy protesters in the Kampala among others areas who were demanding for immediate and unconditional release of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine. 

Bobi Wine was incarcerated in Makindye Military Barracks before the court martial dropped the charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions handing him to Civilian Court. Bobi Wine was later remanded to Gulu prison on charges of treason with other legislators.
