Shiloh City Church in Mukono has marked eight years of existence, through a celebration conference dubbed THE WORDFEST.

The conference that started on 27th August will take place for a full week. According to the senior pastor of the church, Pastor Godfrey Joshua Kuteesa, the renovation and expansion of the church has been a big step in ministry and thus the need for thanksgiving.

‘As a church, we started with a very small building and almost nothing, but I am happy to say that the Lord has lifted us from glory to glory. This celebration is just to thank him and therefore we urge as many people to come and be a part of this great season,' said Kuteesa. Shiloh City Church is located near Uganda Christian University and has been operating under the theme of “Experience the Common’ as the theme for this year 2018.

As part of the conference, the church hosted Bishop Matthew Wambua from Deliverance Church in Kenya, who based his teaching on having faith. Sarah Mudahogora, one of the participants in the conference said 'So far so good. The 1st preacher has blessed us immensely and we cannot wait for what God has in store through the week.'

The conference that will be running through the week will be crowned with the anniversary celebrations on 2nd September, 2018.
