An outgoing student of Bachelor of Education has died of stomach complications.  Alice Namatovu died on Tuesday 28th while being rushed to the hospital.

She had completed her third year in education, awaiting to graduate in January 2019.

Questions are being asked on the rising number of students the College has lost since last year. According to Milly Namuddu,  the Guild Representative in the Council (GRC), Alice is the fifth student to die within only this year.

Hakim Katalemwa, a friend and fellow student to Namatovu expressed his grief over the loss of a good friend.  "Alice has been such a wonderful friend who loves and cares for others," said Hakim.

No postmortem has been carried out to find the actual cause of death. Namatovu's remains were buried on Wednesday at Mabaale in Luwero district.
