The Department of Journalism and Communication has received the list of students admitted for the Bachelor of Journalism and Communication at Makerere University. The Acting Chair of the Department, Ms Aisha Nakiwala, congratulates the admitted students upon the achievement and welcomed them to the department where they will start a journey to professionalism in Journalism and Communication.

Admission letters for the students admitted on private scheme are not yet ready, and are expected to be dispatched to Colleges by 27th July, 2015. According to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Registrar, Mr. Vincent Ekwang, says students admitted to the all courses in the College will pick their admission letters from his office in Room 2, Faculty of Arts building.

For now, it is only admission letters for government students that are ready to be picked. Students admitted on district quota will also have to wait until 27th July, 2015 to collect their admission letters.

Bachelor of Journalism and Communication is a four year course, that trains students in journalism and communication fields. Below is a full list of students admitted on private scheme for Bachelor of Journalism and Communication.
