Kyambogo University  students decided to finally demonstrate against insanitation, poor infrastructure, and poor meals among the other several issues that have been silently eating the institution up.

After its first attempt to strike was yesterday- but in vain, Kyambogo students saved all the energy they could and finally said NO in a protest to the Senate, attracting a somber and chaotic mood at the Banda based university with a mouthful of teargas that painted the sky grey, businesses closing up, books laid down and a few student arrests by police that immediately intervened and calmed down the situation though the students are not satisfied and still vow not to rest till there is great change
