Makerere university students will vote for their guild president on March 19th.

In a statement released by the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Michael Byemero today, students will vote for their guild president on Wednesday March 19th.

Students will then vote for their representatives to the guild council (GRCs) on Friday 21st March.
The race is expected to be tighter; FDC’s Andrew Mujinya, DP’s Sarah Aseru and NRM’s Boniface Mbabazi will represent their parties in this race.

FDC seek to retain the top seat through Mr. Mujinya while DP will struggle to stop them (FDC) from retaining the seat two times in a row, through Ms. Aseru.

The winner will replace Ms. Ann Adeke to head Makerere’s 80th guild.
