Okello Superb as KCCA Wins First Game

KCCA FC’s newly discovered talent Allan Jolly Okello has displayed a great performance in the city giants' victory over Tooro United FC, formally Soana, at Star Times Stadium, Lugogo on Friday.

The teenager scored a long range short that eventually gave his side a half time lead against the Tooro based club, just minutes before Patrick Kaddu headed the ball in to double the team’s lead.

Vipers Host Ndejje in League Opener

Defending Champions Vipers SC today open their title defense campaign with a home game against newly promoted Ndejje University at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

The match will be the first official competitive meeting between the two sides since Ndejje University FC only joined the top flight football. This will be Ndejje University’s first game after its promotion as champions of the big league last season.

Sports Minister Commends Armed Forces on Sports

 

The State Minister for Sports, Charles Bakkabulindi has commended the armed forces for embracing sports in their different institutions.

 

Bakkabulindi was on Monday speaking at the closing ceremony of the 14th edition of inter-forces games at Mandela National Stadium-Namboole, where he was the chief guest.

 

He says sports not only showcases talent, but also can be used as a tool for unity and cooperation.
