University student cuts own throat over girlfriend, groaning

Students at Bishop Barham University College, Kabale,  were on Tuesday left in shock after their very own Obed Muhoozi slit his throat open over a girlfriend.

The 21-year-old Muhoozi , who is a first-year student  pursuing a degree in Social Work and Social Administration,  committed the horrible act on International Women’s day from his room at Top view hostel, after he learnt that his most treasured girlfriend, Nahabwe, who had promised to spend the day with him, was with another man.

Uganda Cranes Players Discharged After Nasty Accident

Uganda Cranes players that sustained injuries after the team bus was involved in an accident on Tuesday have been discharged from hospital.

“All players are better off now including myself after that fatal accident, we visited Nakasero hospital for treatment and all this was catered for by state house,” narrated Ahmed Hussein the FUFA Spoke Person at the weekly FUFA press briefing on Wednesday.
