Wakiso Giants beat Busoga to move to the 7th position

Wakiso Giants are now in 7th position of the StarTimes Uganda premier league table after beating Busoga United 2-1 in a match played at at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso on Friday.

The visitors took the lead through a 25h minute strike by Otwo Abubakar but Vienne Sekajugo levelled the match in the added minutes of first half. In the 72th minute however, Karim Ndugwa's goal earned maximum points for the Purple Sharks. This is their 5th win of the season.

Wakiso Giants Snatch Stoppage Time Winner against Proline

Proline's dismal form continued on Sunday as Kefa Kisala’s men lost 2-1 to Wakiso Giants.

Vienne Ssekajugo netted twice, including a 90th minute penalty, to secure maximum points for Wakiso Giants and pile misery on Proline at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Ssekajugo's 7th minute goal placed the Purple Sharks into the lead but Bright Anukai's 39th minute strike leveled matters. Things changed in the 90th minute when the referee gave Wakiso Giants a clumsy penalty as Proline's captain Mustapha Mujuzi described it.

KCCA Back to Winning Ways, Wallops Onduparaka 4-0

Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA FC has finally found their winning ways beating Onduparaka FC 4-0 in a match played at Star Times Stadium in Kampala on Friday.

A Mike Mutyaba hat-trick and another effort from Sadat Anaku sealed the three crucial points for KCCA on home turf.

The defending champions entered this match with a record of failing to win in their last five outings.  These uneventful campaign include a 1-1 draw against Patro de Lwanda from Angola which eliminated KCCA from the CAF Champions League to CAF Confederation Cup.
