Mulindwa eyes CECAFA President Seat

Lawrence Mulindwa announced his bid to the Council of East And Central Africa Football Association) presidency on Tuesday in a press conference at Pope Paul Hotel in Kampala.

The former FUFA president, owner of Vipers FC and currently Vice president of CECAFA finally announced to run for presidency come Friday 20.nov.2015 during the CECAFA executive assembly in Addis Ababa.

Uganda cranes Thumps Togo, set Record

The Uganda Cranes, Uganda national soccer team on Sunday 15th Nov, 2015 set a new record against Togo National team at Mandela National Stadium, Nambole by defeating the visitors 3:0.

The Uganda Cranes led by Serbian coach Milutin Sredojevic, a.k.a Micho, started the walk to the record on Tuesday 10th Nov, 2015 when the team set off for the 2018 World cup qualifiers match in Lome against Togo.

Mak Inter-Staff Games On

The Makerere University Inter-staff competitions kick off Friday 22nd November at the Main Sports ground. The contest that will feature teams from all the nine colleges and school of law, Directorates, University Hospital, Estates and Works Department, the Main Library, Dean of Students’ Department and the Senate Building.

The units’ teams will compete in Soccer (men), Netball (Women), Volleyball (mixed team), Athletics (all), Cross Country (all) and Tennis.
