The lead Pastor of The House of Prayer Ministries, Pastor Aloysius Bujingo issued a statement that applauded the job done by the security agencies to beat legislators Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine, Francis Zzaake and others in the Arua campaigns.

According to Bujingo, he will organize a party if both are subjected to life imprisonment because they disrupt freedom brought by NRM government. “Bobi Wine and his crew stoned the President’s car so they have to pay for their actions,” he said in the statement.

Many people have however criticized him and made many Ugandans that included Bujingo’s Church followers, Bobi wine’s friends and family members, to flock to social media and directed their anger and embarrassment to the Pastor. Many abused him, others labeled him a misleader and ignorant while others called for his silence on political affairs.

Among the people that attacked Pr. Bujingo was a brother to the jailed Bobi Wine, Banjoman, who warned him to get off Bobi Wine. “Pastor Bujingo u know the truth, stop preaching lies about Bobi simply because u are President Museveni’s friend. People come to u because they have troubles created by yo friend,” his post reads.

Other people used their twitter handles and face book accounts to react to the pastor’s words.  Josh Derrick Mugabi used his twitter handle @joshderrickmugabi and asked Pastor Bujingo to collect his money and leave the politics alone. “What’s wrong with pastor Bujingo??? I advise Mr. elder to collect his money and leave politics alone, focus on gospel if at all you are right, you attack everything but this time round it’s a no, I credit you…,” his tweet reads.

David Olara also used his twitter handle @davidolara and called the Pastor a common face of ignorance. “If Pastor Bujingo really said that he has become a common face of ignorance. I mean many are aware of the Holy Ghost vs. Holy Spirit saga in which an ignorant opinion by this…” His tweet reads.

Although many people have reacted to Pastor Bujingo’s statement, he has not yet replied to any of the posts and the tweets posted by the people that criticized his opinion against the detained and tortured MPs.
