Kim Kardashian, Kanye West visit Masulita orphanage centre, donate apple beats, sneakers

American rapper Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian who are currently on vacation have paid a courtesy visit to Masulita children’s home in Wakiso district.

The home, which was started by Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO), is the oldest orphanage in the country.

Contrary to the usual donations such as foodstuffs, money, and clothing, the celebrity couple donated Apple Inc. speakers Beats by Dr. Dre and multiple pairs of yeezy sneakers to children at the orphanage.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on Monday visited President Yoweri Museveni   at State House Entebbe and pledged to put up a world-class tourism school in Uganda.

While visiting UWESO)  Children’s Village in Masulita, Wakiso District on Tuesday, West said he would work local musicians to help promote Uganda’s industry.

“Uganda is a very beautiful country and we shall be back soon. We shall work with Uganda musicians to promote their music,” said who was accompanied by his wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, State Minister for Tourism, Godfrey Kiwanda, minister of Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, Eng. Hillary Onek and other government officials.

He also offered to help the orphans at the children’s village before donating several pairs of sneakers and T-shirts to them.

“We shall back to work with Uweso Children’s village to make sure the children get a better life,” he added.

This website learnt that the world-class school will be a foundation of tourism not only in Uganda but the East Africa region.

The couple also donated sneakers to Mr Museveni

Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian arrived in Uganda last week, and have been staying at Chobe Safaris Lodge in Murchison Falls, National Park.
