Pastor Aloysius Bujingo of the House Of Prayer Ministries defends himself, saying he has never accused Bobi Wine of causing violence in the country. Pastor Bujingo has faced a lot of criticism for allegedly supporting the arrest and beating of Bobi Wine, fellow MPs and his supporters in the Arua by-election.

But Bujingo denied the allegations in a church service at his church. He remarked "our haters have tried all ways to tarnish our name on social media platforms. I have never accused Bobi Wine of causing violence in the country; I don't even own a face book account".

The statement attributed to him circulated on social media, saying in Bujingo's voice that "I will do a house party if Bobi Wine is given life imprisonment for disrupting country's peace."

This attarcted a lot of criticism against Bujingo for being a hypocrite and NRM supporter who promotes Museveni's interests. Some followers like Annet Mulungi had even started doubting whether Bujingo was indeed a man of God.

Bujingo however in response said Bobi Wine married a woman from the West, and he considers Bobi Wine an in-law and he cant wish him bad.
