Minister Mutende died a Natural Death, says Pathologists

Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda has said that post-mortem results on body of Hon Dr James Mutende indicate that the departed Minister of State for Trade died of natural causes.

“Results from pathologists who carried out the postmortem at Mulago National Referral Hospital show that Hon Dr James Mutende died of natural causes,” Rugunda said in a press statement released today morning.

Makerere students complete over 100 courses in Oil research

The first batch of Masters Students from Makerere University have completed over 100 courses in the International Petroleum Industry multimedia system (IPIMS). 
The system that was provided by International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC) and AH Consulting partnership in with the University, started in June last year with a total of six students, all of whom have been able to complete the certificate course. 

Ssekandi Launches Kibaki Presidential Library

The Vice President of Uganda, Prof. Edward Ssekandi has launched the construction of the 20-floor Mwai Kibaki Presidential library at Makerere University. 
The state of the art library, to be built by Makerere University and partners in honour of Kenya's former president, in December this year, will further contribute to the academic advancement and Excellency at East Africa's oldest University.
