Government resumes Ebola vaccination

Uganda has on Monday, and for the very first time, started vaccination against the deadly Ebola haemorrhagic fever (EHF) as a preventive measure against the disease that has ravaged neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

A according to Dr Jane Ruth Aceng, the Health minister, a total of 3000 Ugandans are to benefit from the from the vaccination process.

Key place are those bordering DRC including Bunyangabo, Bundibugyo, Ntoroko, Kasese and Kabaraole.
