Sekisambu Joins Kenya League Champions

The former Vipers SC and Uganda Cranes player, Erisa Sekisambu has officially signed with the Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia on a two-year deal.

Sekisambu’s move to the club was confirmed by his agent Ronald Niwagira, also known as “Ronnie Santos” who has been developing various moves for him ever since the contract expired.

According to Ronnie Santos, the 23-year old has joined the 17-time Kenya champions after his services with Vipers SC expired at the end of last season.

“Yes, Erisa Sekisambu has signed a two-year deal with Gor Mahia, the best club in Kenya. I wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” Niwagira said.

The former Ugandan Revenue Authority (URA FC), Express FC, SC Villa man has won Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) various times and of recent was named Uganda cup MVP at Vipers SC.

His striking effort helped the club to win Uganda premier league last season where he scored eight goals for the club. He has won two league titles and one Uganda Cup with the club, among other small awards.

Sekisambu is not the first Ugandan player to join the Kenyan club; other players like Godfrey Walusimbi, Shafic Batambuze, Daniel Sserunkuma and others have also played with Gor Mahia.
