Makerere- Martins Kato is a Third Year Student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Bio-technology.  From childhood, Kato always wanted to be a leader and stood up whenever there was chance of becoming a leader.

His journey of politics started way back in his primary school, where he served as the religious prefect, and a head prefect in secondary school. “Leadership has been my thing and I have great passion for it,” Kato says.

The renovation of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Building is becoming a threat to both the sanitation and safety of the students.

Barely a month into the semester, students from the different halls of residence staged a demonstration demanding for the fast completion of their hall lavatories and termination of the 15% tuition increment.
