KCCA Back to Winning Ways, Wallops Onduparaka 4-0

Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA FC has finally found their winning ways beating Onduparaka FC 4-0 in a match played at Star Times Stadium in Kampala on Friday.

A Mike Mutyaba hat-trick and another effort from Sadat Anaku sealed the three crucial points for KCCA on home turf.

The defending champions entered this match with a record of failing to win in their last five outings.  These uneventful campaign include a 1-1 draw against Patro de Lwanda from Angola which eliminated KCCA from the CAF Champions League to CAF Confederation Cup.

Nyamityobora FC Downplay Reports of New Coach

 

Nyamityobora FC patron, Ali Ssekatawa has downplayed media talk that the club has appointed Alex Isabirye as new coach.

Rumors have been circulating over the media platforms that the club has signed the former coach Alex Isabirye Musongola, which has been confirmed wrong by the club through its patron.

Uganda Police Dominates MTN Kampala Marathon

The team from Uganda Police put up a spirited fight that saw them win all the awards in the 42 kilometers full race in the men’s category at the MTN Kampala marathon that was held on Sunday, 25th at the Kololo Airstrip.

Joshua Chemutai won the race in 2 hours, 18 minutes and 27 seconds. This saw him awarded a crown, a gold medal and a cheque of 40 million Uganda shillings.
