Ssemata Becomes First Ugandan to Beat Golola

 

Umar Ssemata becomes the first Ugandan to defeat Moses Golola in a kickboxing match. In a no-title challenge fight that took place on Saturday night at Freedom City in Namasuba along Entebe road, Thailand-based Ugandan fighter Umar Ssemata was declared a winner in the night of Champions, after silencing motor-mouthed Moses Golola in the fifth round.

 

Okwi Brace Gives Uganda Big Win Against Lesotho

Two goals from Emmanuel Arnold Okwi and a penalty converted by Farouk Miya saw Uganda get a 3-0 win against Lesotho at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole. This put the cranes on top of group L with 7 points and 4 goals in 3 matches a head of a return leg with Lesotho on Tuesday at Setsoto stadium in Maseru, Lesotho in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

 

Mbarara Humbles Express

Mbarara City registered their first win of the league today, humbling giants Express FC 3-1 at their new home Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

Despite Mbarara City's 1-0 defeat to the newly promoted Ndejje in their first game last week, Livingstone Mbabazi’s side put up a fight in front of their home fans at Kavumba against the Red Eagles.
