Just days after a virtual news anchor started reading news in China, some Ugandan journalists say the development signals tough times ahead.
China state news agency, Xinhua, unveiled its artificial intelligence news on Wednesday 7th November at an internet conference in the Eastern Chinese city of Wuzhen.
"Hello, you are watching English News program, I am AI News anchor in Beijing,” said the AI anchor named Qiu Hao.

Ugandans have been urged to use natural methods of whitening teeth that are less risky. Dr. Jonathan Ssembajjwe, a dentist at Mawano clinic gives an example of lemon juice and baking soda that whiten teeth naturally without any negative effect.
Dr Ssembajjwe made the revelation at a dental medical camp which was held at Mulago market to sensitize residents on how to keep their teeth safe and healthy.

KAMPALA- Next media services group on Wednesday night launched the much anticipated ‘Next Big Thing;’ the Nxt radio station.
The group unveiled Nxt Radio 106.1 FM at Mestil Hostel, a new brand to already booming NBS Television, Sanyuka TV and Salaam Television.
The Nxt Radio, according to Next Media services will help the group to reach to the youth and other audiences especially during the morning and evening rush hours.
