Religious leader calls for unity during Eid AL-Adha

Sheikh Mubiru Isa of Namasuba mosque encouraged Muslims to keep unity and peace as the greatest weapon to win all enemies.

“Eid-Al Adha should teach us the importance of unity not only among muslims, but worldwide.” Sheikh Isa Mubiru said to the muslims.

He added that after all Ibrahim is the grandfather of all believers.

Eid-Adha is an Islamic festival to remember the willingness of prophet Ibrahim to follow Allah’s command of sacrificing his son Ismael. This is observed by muslims around the world. 

“The festivals of this day include sacrifice of sheep, goats, cows and camels.” Sheikh Hassan Matsiko, the leader of Zanna mosque remarked.

According to sheikh Lwanga khamis, every year muslims go for Hajj as a unifying message by wearing similar clothes and mixing with others freely, not considering one’s status.

Following the rampant killings of people in the country, with Muslim being accused has left their image turnished.Forthat reason, with unity among all people; accusations of one group can be stopped.
