Hon.kijjambu Michael, the finance minister of the 81st guild cabinet together with his boss Mr. Bala David allegedly swindled five million shillings that was supposed to cater for some expenses in this year’s Mak Varsity Awards project from Centenary bank.

Centenary bank, being part of the many sponsoring companies, promised five million Ugandan shillings to this project which was sent to the guild account on the 12th of October according to the bank’s statement.

“For a month now, this sum of money has in vain reached the coordinator for this project, yet it is supposed to clear part of the debts  that amount to seven million Ugandan shillings including clearing the balance on the accolades that were given to the winners” an insider said.

A follow up on the movement of the money by the project’s coordinator, John Paul Mugwanya shows that it was reflected on the dean of student’s account before reaching the guild account, which is evidence that the money rested on the guild account

The guild boss, Mr. David Bala Bwiruka, and his finance minister kijjambu Michael have totally failed to deliver the money to the coordinator and yet have failed to explain why and where they put that money, but only make calls busy on trying to reach them.  The coordinator added.
