Makerere University Appointments committee has issued another suspension letter to a lecturer from the College of Business and Management Sciences (Cobams).

Brian Musaga, from the department of planning and applied statistics was at the end of this month allegedly caught red handed in a sexual act from his office with a third-year student (name withheld), from the same college. The student had gone to Musaga's office to inquire about how to handle her final project.

Journalism@Mak also came to learn that after police arresting Musaga, a lot of other female students showed up, testifying of how Musaga has been "sexually harassing" them.

It is basing on these grounds that the same committee that earlier suspended Dr Stella Nyanzi from the Makerere institute of Social Reaserch (MISR), held a meeting on June 2 and resolved that the Vice Chancellor, Prof John Ddumba-Ssentamu should, with immediate effect pending investigations, suspend Musaga from the University.

In the suspension letter issued to Musaga and signed by Ddumba-Ssentamu, it's stated: "You are strongly advised to desist from access to any college premises / and or interaction with any student until investigations are over. You are required to handover all university property includind students' scripts hat may still be in your possession."

The letter also informs Musaga of how the University has developed zero tolerance strategy to sexual harassments from lecturers to students, and any leturers who engages in the act will be dealt with.

Similarly, some students that talked to this website, also swore to start bringing to light every lecturer who makes an attempt to demand for sex for whatever return.
