Nyamityobora FC patron, Ali Ssekatawa has downplayed media talk that the club has appointed Alex Isabirye as new coach.

Rumors have been circulating over the media platforms that the club has signed the former coach Alex Isabirye Musongola, which has been confirmed wrong by the club through its patron.

According to a statement issued on 28/11/2018 on the club’s official Twitter account, Ssekatawa says the club has not yet appointed any coach for the vacant head coach position, despite reports that Alex Isabirye has returned to the club.

“It is true that we have been on a hunt for a new head coach but media reports stating Isabirye’s appointment are false,” Ssekatawa added.

The club has been without a head coach after the departure James Odoch, which saw media and coaching association attacking club president, Eng. Ben Misagga over his comments on Odoch.

Sseketawa claims that the club is doing well to settle issues and advised media to follow the club’s official sites like Twitter as they are set to announce a new coach.
