Miss Tourism Pageant:  West Nile's Odongkara Crowned Winner

This highly anticipated pageant of Miss Tourism Uganda 2016 ended with minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities,  Maria Mutagamba crowning Eildad Epiaka Odongkara from West Nile.

In an event that was held from Serena Hotel Kampala yesterday under the theme: "Let The Pearl Shine", Odongkara also won other titles like Miss Popularity and Miss Best National Costume.

Other contestants who won titles included the following Bella Becky (Miss sports), Hellena Namutosi (Miss photogenic), Tiperu Alice (Miss conservation), Martha Agwang (Miss Personality), and Rita Twahirwa (Miss talent).

Among other people who were awarded included some journalists who were appreciated for supporting this Miss tourism pageant since day one. They include Steve Odeke (New Vision), Derrick Luyombya of an online website the (BigEye Uganda) and one female journalist Ronah Kisakye.

Alepar Pamela from Karamoja region emerged the 2nd runner up.
Among the top 10 finalists included Kezia Nakibule ,  Olivia Nanteza both from Buganda region and Racheal Ochole from the north.

To run her work effectively, Odongkara was also given a brand new Toyota Ipsum.
