Ghanian Caught With Shs66.6m Counterfeit Money To Be Be Charged

A 46-year-old Ghanian who was yesterday found to be possessing counterfeit money is to face charges for printing and distributing fake money.

The arrest of Peter Woods followed a tip-off by one of the people Woods had conned with the fake bank notes. He was found possessing counterfeit money of 66.6 million, including Ugandan currencies and the dollars.

BREAKING: High Court rules Sejusa No longer A Serving Army Officer

High court of Uganda has this afternoon ruled that Gen David Tinyefuza also known as Sejusa is no longer a serving army officer of UPDF.

While giving her ruling, justice Margeret Oumo Oguli said that Sejusa, like any other army officer, is entitled to "constructive discharge" from the army since he no
longer receives a salary and other benefits and has also not been deployed by the UPDF for one and a half years now.

Bodies Of Ugandan Marines Killed In DRC Returned Home

The bodies of three Ugandan policemen killed
on Lake Albert along the Democratic Republic of
Congo (DRC) border over the weekend have
been handed over to Ugandan authorities in
West Nile yesterday afternoon.

Initial reports indicated that four police officers
had been killed. However, it was later confirmed
that only three officers were killed.

They include Moses Ocen a constable from Apac, Farouq
Waiswa, a sergeant from Bugiri and Bernard
Isingoma, a constable from Hoima district.
