PASTOR BUJINGO DEFENDS SELF OVER BOBI WINE COMMENTS

 

Pastor Aloysius Bujingo of the House Of Prayer Ministries defends himself, saying he has never accused Bobi Wine of causing violence in the country. Pastor Bujingo has faced a lot of criticism for allegedly supporting the arrest and beating of Bobi Wine, fellow MPs and his supporters in the Arua by-election.

A campaign to make journalists great again

The candidates contending for the presidency of the Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) have engaged in a public debate as the voting date draws nearer.

Hajji Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira and Abubaker Luboowa spent part of Monday evening presenting their manifestos to the electorate ahead of this Saturday’s (8th September) election at Tick Hotel in Kawempe.

Anti corruption court summons senior police bosses over abuse of office, kidnap

 
The Anti-Corruption court has summoned senior police chiefs including former Kampala South metropolitan police commander Siraje Bakaleke to appear and answer to charges of abuse of office.
 
The charges are in relation to allegations of the kidnap, wrongful arrest and confinement of three Korean investors.
 
Bakaleke is summoned alongside six other police officers.
